We just thought we'd update everyone on what is going on in the day to day life with our sweet little Emilia.
Emilia will be 8 weeks old tomorrow! I can hardly believe how fast time has flown! My maternity leave will end at the end of this month with me going back to work the day after Labor Day. Emilia is doing just great - she is giving us tons of smiles and is just so fun to "chat" with - she shares such interesting stories through her babbling. She is even laughing...sometimes in her sleep! She is happy on her tummy and getting stronger every day. It's really a miracle to watch how quickly they learn, change and grow! We are loving every minute of it!
We have had such a busy summer with weddings and family gatherings almost every weekend. We just got back from a family reunion with Jeff's family and Emilia got to experience her first "dip" in one of Minnesota's lakes. It was great for some photo opps of course :) Here's a picture of Emilia in her first swimsuit!
Hopefully everyone is having as much fun this summer as we are!
