We just wanted to post a little update on life with Emilia (who is already 4 and a half months old)!
We are still having as much fun as ever! She is continuing to share tons of smiles, laughs and “words” with everyone. We look forward to waking up every morning to see her smiling face. It’s so amazing to just watch her discover new things each and every day – most of which go right to her mouth!
She had her 4 month check up this month and all went with well. Her weight was 14 pounds, 3 ounces and her length was 26 inches – she is very tall for her age; in the 95th percentile. She must be taking after the Pearson side of the family! She cooperated very well with all the poking and prodding, but she did pee on the scale right after being weighed! Ha ha ha!

They said she is growing beautifully! It’s reassuring to know that we have a healthy baby! On that note, Emilia does have her first ear infection right now. She got a cold and it led to a little fever and an ear infection in her left ear. All things considered, she is still very “delightful” as Cathy, her daycare provider would say.
I dropped her off at daycare today and was entertained by the cute costumes all the kids were dressed up in for Halloween. Emilia was bundled up in her cozy Dalmatian costume and among the other costumes were puppies, butterflies, bumblebees, a giraffe and Snow White! Even Cathy was dressed up as a clown! I’m sure they will have all kinds of fun today! Here's a picture my little laughing puppy in her carseat before we walked out the door.

Of course - a girl must have more than ONE Halloween costume! Isn't that what Grandma's / Nana's are for? Here's a picture of Emilia in her Kitty Costume and also one of her in the Trick or Treater's candy bowl!
