Today was Emilia's first trip to the Zoo! We decided to visit the Como Park Zoo since it is a great, manageable little zoo...just the perfect way to introduce our little one to the WILD WORLD OF ANIMALS! And, it is of course, right next to the Conservatory where Jeff and I got engaged :)
We planned our trip as a Meet Up and invited others families to join us for a picnic, followed by a little exploring of the zoo animals, a walk through the butterfly exhibit and ending with a ride on the carousel!
The weather was a little questionable in the morning, so only one other family ended up coming - Janelle and her daughter, Mila. Mila and Emilia are just a few days apart in age so they had a great time being strolled around by each other!
It was a great day full of fun firsts and good memories!
