Home for Christmas...

We just can’t get enough of the goodness that Christmas season brings...that’s why we were SO excited to have one last hurrah by celebrating Christmas and New Year’s in Marshfield with just my parents and the three of us. I LOVE to go home all the time, but home is especially great at Christmas. The lights are up on the outside of the house making it look so warm and happy, even after a long, cramped car ride from the Cities. And inside is even better...just decked out with cute Christmas decorations, a stocked fridge and little surprises here and there...like Emilia’s new Hello Kitty towel and washcloths! But nothing makes home more special than just having the relaxing time to be together as a family.

My mom and dad planned the perfect balance of fun and relaxation for our time home...

We had fun exchanging gifts and seeing everyone’s reactions at they opened everything. Emilia was just great – a seasoned gift opener! She LOVED her gifts and wasted no time putting them to good use.

Having a tea party by the tree with my old tea set .

Playing the little baker at her new inflatable table.

Jammin’ out with Grandma to the dancing Rudolf, Santa, Elf and Snowman.

We enjoyed an AMAZING sleigh ride with beautiful horses that Emilia just LOVED and a driver that wore a red jacket and in her eyes and words was “Santa”. After our ride we enjoyed fire roasted hotdogs and s’mores in the warming house. Yummy!

A quick COLD picture after our sleigh ride.

Thank you Mom and Dad for the traditions, the surprise, the love and all the fun memories we make everytime we're together. We LOVE YOU!
