Mila did a great job sharing all of her toys with Emilia, who was just loving all the new stuff she got to play with. The dress up shoes were the show stopper. This little gem was the toughest one to share, but we convinced the girls to each wear one shoe and then dance around the coffee table doing funny things like, shaking their buns, sticking their tongue out, wiggling their ears, stomping their and just giggling :) The other shared favorite was "pretty lips." They each got their lips loaded up before we snapped these pics :)

Mila also impressed us with being potty trained! I think Emilia thought it was pretty cool too, because she used the potty twice while we were there! And after she went #2 before leaving, she got the treat that Mila gets after using the potty...a gummy bear :) YUM! She loved it and talked about using the potty and gummy bears the whole way home.
We're looking forward to many more fun, cozy nights in with friends this fall and winter!

Potty training peer pressure! So do you think Emilia is ready to start?
I don't think she's ready quite yet...the last night at home she was happily playing in her house (making muffins and coffee while chatting away to herself) and I went in to ask her if my coffee was ready and she had just gone #2. She doesn't even care when her diaper is dirty and she sure doesn't stop playing to come out and tell me she has to go. I know she is smart and able to grasp this type of concept, but I just think trying right now would just mean that the training process would drag out even longer. All that being said...I think if I stayed home with her and could dedicate entire days for a good few days to talking about it / focusing on it...she could be potty trained sooner. But she goes to daycare and in their 27 years experience...most kids (girls) aren't really ready until closer to 2.5...which will be late December / early January. Stay tuned...
