This weekend, with the help of my mom and dad, of course, we took on the task of setting up Emilia's new BIG GIRL ROOM! I searched long and hard for all the pieces to make it a room she would love. We had everything we needed...the bedding, a new rug, a new lamp, new furniture, new curtains and the paint. It was finally time for the FUN part - putting it all together :) It was a GREAT weekend full of work and cleaning and playing and, in the end, the accomplished and satisfied feeling I LOVE and a little girl who just LOVES her NEW ROOM :)Here are pictures of the room before, a few in the middle and the (nearly) finished BIG GIRL ROOM. We still need to complete the curtains, put up her name on the wall, hang the chandelier and find a mirror for above her dresser.

Super cute! Love the purple - I think Sydney's big girl room will be purple when she transitions out of the nursery.
