I call my Thomas, "sweets"

We shared a fun Friday night at home with Emilia's BFF from daycare, Thomas and his mom and Dad, Kate and Travis. Emilia must have checked the back door 10 times before they got there just waiting for them to arrive. When they did, her reaction and Thomas' was just priceless. He marched up and deck and came in the house and they picked up right where they left off that afternoon at daycare. She showed him her new room right away and then we headed to the living room in an attempt to play their first game of Hi Ho Cherry-o :)

After some play time it was time for dinner. Everyone had worked up quite the appetite so the pizza was extra delicious :) And just when the tots said they were done and wanted to get down, we brought out the fruit pizza's for them to decorate and eat. It's amazing how they can always make more space in their tummy's for "bez-zert"!

After all of the eating was done, Emilia and Tommy cuddled up on the couch to watch a bit of a movie :) Emilia was wanting to give Thomas lots of tickles and hugs, but Tommy was just wanting to sit back and relax. They are just too cute together.

They exchanged a hug and a kiss before Tommy headed home for the night :) The two of them are such great buddies. We are SO excited that Kate and Travis are welcoming another boy to their family this June! As Kate said, "It increases the chances of a Pearson / O'Hara wedding!"

Throughout the rest of the weekend, Emilia would recollect things that happened while Thomas was at our house... "I had pizza with THOMAS!" or "Thomas used the monkey plate". My favorite would have to be when she said, "I call my Thomas, 'sweets'" So funny!
