We got to spend the day with one of my dearest friends - TyAnn and her 3 little munchkins, Paiton (6), Landon (4.5) and Mason (7 months). TyAnn and I met when I was 7 years old. We became best friends during the 4 years my family lived in Portland, OR. and have been friends ever since. We were both in each other's weddings and, she is just the kind of friend that, no matter how much time passes between phone calls or seeing one another, we can pick up right where we left off with.
When we got home, some of the kids went down for naps and TyAnn and I just got to sit and chat for a while. It felt so good to be in the same room instead of miles and miles and miles apart! I got to see Paiton lay out all the alphabet cards and tell me what each letter says. I think I even learned a few things :) After nap, Emilia and Paiton dug into the the dress up stuff and transformed themselves into princesses...complete with a few spritzes of my perfume :) They instructed us to "stay downstairs until they were ready" and on the way up the stairs, I could smell the perfume. I just hoped it hadn't spilled all over the carpet! Thankfully, they knew just what to do with it and used just the right amount! Emilia told me that Paiton said to "spray it right here" as she lifted her little chin high and pointed to her neck :) How cute are they all dolled up?!
We snapped one more picture of the gang before TyAnn headed out. We promised to watch airline tickets so I could make a trip to see her soon!

I made the trip out to Oregon to visit Ty 3 months after her first baby, Paiton, was born and TyAnn made the trip out to Minnesota just a couple weeks after Emilia was born and now, with Olivia at 3 months. I just love Ty so much and her kids are just a perfect reflection of her :)
We loaded up the mini van to maximum capacity with 5 car seats and 3 adults and headed to the Children's Museum to let the kids explore and have some fun! My mom came along with us to spend some time with Ty and her kids and to help us keep track of everyone :) The museum was very busy with kids and parents and mom's with ridiculously huge strollers, but we all had a great time!
