We headed up north this weekend to spend time with family. We celebrated birthdays, shared a meal, and got to see my cousins...two of which will soon be headed far from home...Hilary to college and Megan to Argentina...and Zach had something to show off too - his new buzz cut - which looked great by the way! He looks so much like my Dad when he was younger! We shared plenty of laughs and helped with a couple projects around the cabin. It was a CHILLY August weekend...the fire was going a lot of the time. Our little helper girl was great at bringing in log after log to the fire!
And, of course, she lived up to her role as the little entertainer. Showing off her funny faces, singing Happy Birthday in the sweetest voice you've ever heard, trying on Grandma's shoes, grabbing her purse and declaring, "I'm going to Target! Bye!" as she walked out the door. Here she is hamming it up with Nonna's glasses :)
No matter the occasion (or the weather) we always have a great time making memories at the cabin, surrounded by the people we love the most!
