Tonight, we met up with Susan, Andy, Erin, Mike and Addie at Canterbury for a fun night of horse racing :) Emilia and Addie both loved seeing the "horsies" up close and it sure made for some great photo opps with their cute little backsides peering through the fence at the horses.
Emilia really got into the races too, standing up and checking the horses while clapping and cheering as they rounded the corner to the finish line. Our biggest win of the night was in the first race when we bet on Valid Mom...she had a great name and the jockey was wearing a cute red shirt with big white polka dots...she was the clear winner from the start!
Erin, Mike and Addie left first since Addie was tired from all of the excitement of the night. Addie goes 100 mph when she's going...but you know she's done with the thumb is in the mouth and she's sticking close to Mom. Here's a picture of Emilia helping her relax by tickling her face :)
At the end of the night, Emilia said her "goodbyes" to the horses, naming them off by color with Auntie Susie, and then said goodbye to the band before we headed for home.

OMG - look at how stubby my fingers look in that picture. That is almost embarassing enough to make me stop chewing my nails!
I have to admit...I noticed the nails in that picture too! Looks like it's time for you to get pregnant again so your nails can get strong enough to defend themselves against your teeth!!
