We love our Christmas tree. We shopped long and hard for the perfect pre lit, artificial tree that we could put up for the next 25 years like my grandparents have done. We knew we liked the look of a Frasier Fur, but the mess of pine needles mixed with the cat fur that covers the tree skirt it too much for my nerves to handle. So, we were so happy when we finally found the perfect tree at Lowes the year Emilia was born. She has always loved the tree as well. As a baby, she would just gaze up at the lights in awe. Now she loves to switch the lights on and off and to look around at all of the fun ornaments.
Her love of certain ornaments is especially entertaining... On SEVERAL occasions, I look over to see her standing by the tree holding an ornament and pretending it is life size... Her two favorites, the horse on a stick and the rocking horse. She is so hilarious and she doesn't even realize she's being funny. She just picks the ornament off the tree and tries to walk along with this tiny horse on a stick between her legs or squat down for a ride on the miniature rocking horse. She has me laughing so hard it hurts :) Here's my attempt at catching her in the act...
I just love this girl :)
