It's a GIRL!

It was the first big snow storm of the season today. We started the morning with a trip to the pediatrician for what was determined to be an ear infection for Emilia (her first in almost 2 years) and ended our day with a trip back to the same clinic for our MUCH anticipated ultrasound!

I got to the ultrasound a little before Jeff since the weather made it tough to get anywhere. The ultrasound tech promised to not reveal anything until Daddy arrived so I just laid back and enjoyed all of the amazing features she was pointing out to me about this little baby... The 4 chamber heart, the perfectly round skull, the little mouth opening and drinking up fluid, the kidneys, the bright white leg bones and spine. It's all just amazing! I loved every second of watching our active, healthy, beautiful baby up on that screen.

As the ultrasound tech was done getting all of the measurements / pictures she needed, she moved around the wand to show us proof on the gender... We are THRILLED that our family is being blessed with another sweet baby GIRL! I am so excited to see the sister - sister relationship between our two girls...it's so crazy for me to even SAY that...our TWO GIRLS :) I LOVE IT! She said the baby is measuring 19 weeks, 4 days and weighs almost as much as a 12 ounce can of pop. Fun little fact :)

Our little girl was very active during the ultrasound which was especially fun for me because I got to see on the screen what it looked like in there when she was winding up the big kicks I was feeling! She looks perfect in every way!

Here she is all folded up with her feet all the way up by her face...
A gorgeous profile...

A beautiful face...

A nice, strong spine...
and ADORABLE little baby buns...

And if you look closely at this picture...you will see the confirmation that we indeed have been blessed with another little girl :)
