Emilia and I enjoyed a fun night, just us girls, while Jeff had meeting for work. We chatted about the day over dinner, put some laundry in and then got to have a little fun with a project. Since Emilia loves all things girlie and begs, daily, to wear my necklaces, I thought it would be fun to let her create one of her very own :)

A cute little $1 kit from Michael's was just perfect. I love to see how capable she is of doing new things. I feel like it wasn't very long ago that we were excited she was able to pick up a Cheerio and feed it to herself and now she is beading little wooden beads onto a little string and telling me the colors of each one.

I, of course, encouraged the order that she put the beads on so it would be a symmetrical piece of jewelry...but I'm SURE one day she'll be taking care of that all on her own too. She is already concerned with making sure her vitamin or M&M choice matches what she is wearing... Ha ha ha! You don't teach them these things...they are just born into them...and that one comes from me for sure!
Her she is, SO excited about the final project. After she was done, she asked if she could make a necklace for Thomas :) So sweet, although, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be quite as excited about a necklace... She wore it to daycare today to show all of her friends what she made!
