To keep her excitement about the letter E going, we did a project tonight all about the letter E. I pulled together an old magazine, a newspaper and a card with lots of letters on it and asked her to point out all the E's she could find. I would cut them out and hand them to her and then she would stick them onto a piece of card stock she had COVERED with Elmer's glue :) The glue was her favorite part! No amount of glue was enough. If I tried to slide the glue out of her reach, she would insist that I move it right back next to her and squeeze away a little more. She loved the glue SO much that towards the end of the project, her little glue covered finger made its way into her mouth for a little taste! YUCK! I did NOT love this, but Jeff reminded me that this is all a part of being a kid. Okay...but I still grabbed the bottle and made sure it was "Safe and Non Toxic" and told her it was "Yucky."

After our fun project, I'm even more inspired to work with her on the whole alphabet!
