Here she is ALL smiles and excitement at the beginning of the hunt!
She quickly came upon her Easter basket and said "Hey, there's something in Sophie's cage!" Isn't that Easter Bunny is so funny hiding your Easter basket in Sophie's cage :)
"Look! An ouch mouse!"
Time to see what's inside all of the eggs! Jelly beans, Starburst, Rolos, candy bars, money...what more could a girl ask for!??!

After the egg hunt, we had breakfast before going to church to celebrate the real meaning of Easter. Emilia went to the 3 year old "Hoppers" room with Grandma during the service. She still isn't quite ready to be left there alone, but we're hoping she'll come around soon. It's so interesting to see how completely different she is around people she doesn't know well or in situations she is not used to. Grandma said the schedule of activities in the room was really fun for her and kept her interested and distracted from her "unsureness". And she really liked the teachers and one other little girl named Emily. She made two little projects that she was proud to bring back into church and show me.

On our way out of church, Emilia spotted two big Easter bunnies decorating someone's yard. She sure wasn't shy about marching right over to those bunnies for a couple photo opps :)
