Today we celebrated an AMAZING FIRST! Emilia used the POTTY!! On Friday night, my Mom sat her on the potty upstairs and she tinkled! We were so proud and gave her lots of praise and applause. Since Jeff and my Dad weren't there to witness her great accomplishment, we tried again on Sunday.We asked her if she wanted to go tinkle on the potty and she said yes and went running into the bathroom. My Mom sat her up there again and, with 8 eyes on her, she tinkled! We all smiled and clapped and cheered. Then...she got a little more serious, and said, "Poopie..." With a little push, out came 3 poopies! We could NOT believe it!! We know this doesn't mean she is ready to be completely potty trained, but she is definitely on the right track! Just the fact that she knows how to go when we sit her on the potty is AMAZING! We plan to give her a chance to sit on the potty whenever she wants to - at least once a day. Hopefully this is an indication that potty training will be a fun experience for us all! Stay tuned...
UPDATE: Emilia has "used the potty" 2 more times since this picture. It's not a fluke! Wow - this is exciting :)

OMG, how great that she is not afraid of the potty - potty training will be a breeze for you! Good thing she's not stage fright, w/4 sets of eyes on her she could have changed her mind :)
