Addie's Faux Birthday Party :)

Since Addie's 2nd birthday is falling right in the midst of the Thanksgiving holiday this year, we decided to get together for a pre birthday celebration. We got Addie's gifts wrapped up and headed over to their house for a fun night.

Emilia carried in the gifts and Addie got to work opening them up right away. She may have been more interested in the foam stickers we used to decorate the gift...
Erin made her yummy tortilla soup and picked up some cupcake supplies so the girls could get a little messy and have a lot of fun making cupcakes! They were able to help stir the batter, line the cupcake pan and point to which cup to fill next. And once the cupcakes were done baking, they did a great job smearing frosting all over the tops and covering them with sprinkles. They also made sure to taste their creations while decorating with a few licks of the spatula here and there and a plenty of sprinkles into their mouths...
And of course, the best part...getting to indulge on their yummy creations!! It took a little coaxing to get through dinner, but the promise of a delicious cupcake at the end helped :) They each loved hamming it up for the camera and showing off their messy faces.

Addie got the award for really showing her love of cupcakes by shoving the last half of her cupcake into her mouth at once!!! Ha ha ha!

So fun, thanks for coming over, it was great to see you guys! Addie loves her new shoes, even to the point that she had to have them when she was in her rainforest bouncy jumping out of control. Hilarious to see a 2 year old jumping in a bouncy with high heels on!
