Visiting Brady

Tonight, we brought dinner out to Jamie and Kris so we we could have a little time with Brady. Jeff and Emilia hadn't met him yet and I didn't get to cuddle for too long at the hospital, so we were all excited to just lounge around and love up his baby-ness :)

I was especially curious as to how Emilia would react to seeing that Jamie's belly wasn't "big" anymore and to how she would feel about her mommy holding a tiny baby. It doesn't seem like long ago when she was "replaced" as the baby at daycare. She had a good run...but when the day came that a new baby joined the gang at Cathy's, it was Emilia that had the "hardest time."

Happily, Emilia couldn't get enough of Brady and had no problem when mommy and daddy were holding him. She loved holding him on her lap, giving kisses and putting his nuk back in his mouth. She played a little peek-a-boo and showed him how all the buttons worked on his bouncer. She was a great little helper girl! Such a relief for us to see!

Jamie and Kris are doing great! Brady is growing well and letting mom and dad get good chunks of sleep at night. They are completely in love with their new little man and we couldn't be happier for them :) It just keeps getting better...
