20 Months

Emilia turned 20 months today! It's hard to believe how FAST time is flying! She is definitely a toddler more and more everyday - sometimes this is delightful and other times this is very challenging.

With more and more words in her vocabulary - we are learning how to phrase requests in a way that doesn't prompt a "no" or "I don't like it".

Emilia LOVES to read. We love it too - it's about the only time the girl stops! She identitfies everything she sees in the pictures. Her current favorite...the "moutse" in Good Night Moon.

Emilia LOVES music - here's her current TOP 5:

1. Baby Beluga - "Baby Bu-ga"
2. Elmo's World - "La la la, Elmo's Worl..."
3. The Wheels on the Bus - "Move on back!"
4. Ring Around the Rosie - "Rosie, Pockets, Ashes, Down!"
5. Itsy Bitsy Spider - this is mostly about the hand motions. I have been singing this song to her as a distraction through squirmy diaper changes since she was just weeks old... Now she can show me how the spider climbs and how the sun comes ups.

She can count to 10. Her favorite place to do this is still the bath tub where we stick up the foam numbers on the wall. We have started singing the alaphabet song more and more and she is beginning to list off a few letters in sequence.

Emilia continues to be a busy mommy carrying her baby around and making sure she is well fed. Such a little blessing :)
