Valentine's Party

As a little girl, Valentine's Day was my favorite holiday. I just loved everything about it... Hearts, stickers, decorating my Valentine mailbox, picking the perfect Valentine to give to each of my classmates, anticipating what fun treats and surprises the day would have in store...the list goes on. Now I have a daughter who is already celebrating her 2nd Valentine's Day! I can hardly BELIEVE how much has changed since last year! Once we received the list of kids names from daycare - I got to work deciding what Emilia's Valentine's would be this year. I looked through the character cards at Target but then decided to just make Emilia's Valentine's at home again this year. I'm glad I did - because the personalized messages speak from the heart :) Here's a couple of them...

I was so excited to pick Emilia up from daycare today and see what special Valentine's she got from all of her friends :) Her little mailbox was filled with stickers and treats and pencils and love and I was told that Emilia enjoyed a chocolate covered strawberry at snack time! YUMMY! Here's a picture of the daycare crew on Friday afternoon after their fun filled party day!
