Super Bowl Sick Day...

After a very fun, eventful Saturday, we were faced with a very contrasting Sunday. The morning started out great. We enjoyed blueberry pancakes in our pj's and took Emilia for a walk, bundled up in her wagon.

With all the sunshine pouring into the house - it almost felt like Spring which gave me the itch to CLEAN! Well - we didn't get too far on that mission... Emilia woke up during her nap vomiting in her crib. I was at Target getting a couple last minute things to bring to Kris and Jamie's Super Bowl Party and when I got home - I saw what had unfolded. Our poor girl went through no less than 6 new shirts and 6 blankies before she gave up and called it a night, falling asleep with me on the couch at 7pm. She was so thirsty and kept asking for water, juice or milk but whenever we gave her more than 1 tsp - it came right back up. In checking in with Jeff and Emilia this morning - he reported that she was still dry heaving and had fallen asleep again with him on the couch. I feel so bad for my girl and want to wish these sick bugs away!!
