Olivia had her 9 month check up today. Carrying her around in the infant car seat has been really putting my mommy muscles to the test lately, so I was ready to see what the scale had to say! She is a HEALTHLY little girl!

She was a great girl for the doctor. We, again, got several comments on what a happy baby she was. She was very tolerant to everything the doctor was checking out. Her developmental progress was on track with the exception of her gross motor skills. She is not getting herself to the crawling position, pulling herself to standing or cruising along furniture...but let me tell you, she gets around JUST FINE with her rolling maneuvers!! The doctor said they are seeing delays with gross motor skills more now with the back to sleep campaign and was not at all concerned. I have to admit...anything that keeps her a "baby" for a little longer is okay with me! Emilia was the same way with her gross motor skills but excelled in all other categories. She is now very well rounded, so I have no worries here.
Since the appointment and the realization that Livvy really is a "big girl" now, we have retired the infant car seat, moved her into a convertible seat and brought her in to sit in the cart for a shopping trip. Big milestones!! She is loving her new perspective on the world! Sometimes the little things are the most fun :)

Can't believe she is 9 months already! I remember visiting when she was so little!
She is such a cutie and I'm sure will be crawling in no time for better or for worse. :)
Oh my! This picture of Livvy in the cart is adorable.
What a doll baby!! See, this is why Olivia and Marley look so much alike in size...Mars was 21 lbs and 33 in at her 12 month! Olivia is the most adorable little meatball I know! XO!
